Basic Principles

The YEE Regatta is a yearly business event focusing exclusively on young entrepreneurs and managers. This event is conceived as a 4 to 5 days sailing regatta, with strong learning and practising aspects.
Race sailing implies strong team building and needs excellent individual skills. During the YEE Regatta, every crew is training on these skills and values, day- in day-out.
Bringing like-minded Entrepreneurs together enhances informal but strong networking. Several coaches are helping the participants to get the maximum out of this networking.
But the YEE Regatta goes further, as it includes a punctual but intense programme of business seminars and lectures.

Also different from any sailing race is the ever changing location where the yearly event is organised, adding further to its attraction.

A perfect mix?

The organising team is working hard to find the perfect mix between an effective business programme and an intense social programme, between serious racing and informal partying, between seminars with real added-value and a relaxed atmosphere, between creating effective networking opportunities and leaving those men-at-sea create new and intense friendship.
This original event gains an ever higher reputation and is considered by a an increasing number of participants as a ‘must-do’ race or a ‘must-be-part-of-it’ event.

2010 edition

Group 1
* Date: October 9th.Saturday - October 13th. 2010, Wednesday.
* Itinerary: Carian cost, Turkey.
* Type: Sailing competition with an intense learning and social programme for young entrepreneurs and young business people.

Group 2
* Date: October 13th.Thursday - October 17th. 2010, Sunday.
* Itinerary: Lycian coast, Turkey
* Type: Sailing competition with an intense learning and social programme for young entrepreneurs and young business people.

After Athens (in 2003 and 2005), Napels (in 2004), Palma (2006), Sicily and the Aeolian islands (2007), the Peloponessos and the Cycladic islands (2008), Sicily and the Egadi islands (2009), the YEE regatta is heading for a very new destination. As for previous editions, following criteria were taken in account for selecting the new destination:

* A well protected and beautiful sailing area;
* The professional support by a local Yacht Club in race organisation;
* Good meeting and catering facilities for servicing all participants at once;
* Vicinity of an international airport with good connections;
* Minimum transfer time between airport and boarding places;
* An interesting touristic area;

Seminars

In this seventh edition we will discuss the current economic turmoil and seek the opportunities for young entrepreneurs. We will remain focused on improved seminars and more networking opportunities. The general theme for the seminars is: "SEEKING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN EUROPE'S EASTERN NEIGHBOUR COUNTRIES" .

Price

The organising team also keeps to its traditions in offering great value for money. Participating the YEE Regatta costs only € 970 + VAT per person, enclosing an all inclusive package of services. These attractive conditions are only valid during the official registration period, ending June 30th.2010.
